What does ChiefBoard cost?
Solo costs $29, Business $59 and Ultra $129 per month. Paying yearly costs $295, $599 and $1,299 per year, about 15% less. There is also a free plan with no time limit.
Can I try ChiefBoard without an account?
Yes. Ask a question right on the home page and get 3 answers, with no sign-up and no email address. If you create an account afterwards, your conversation is kept.
What does the free plan include?
15 messages per calendar month and 5 decisions in the ledger with reviews, with no time limit and no credit card. Your company profile and the seven templates (including networking) are included. Scenario analysis and file uploads are part of the paid plans.
How long is the trial and what happens after it?
Every new account gets 7 days of full access with 50 messages, no credit card needed. After that the account moves to the free plan automatically. No subscription starts and nothing is charged unless you sign up for one.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions renew automatically, but you can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period, in the customer portal in your account. Until then your plan stays active, after that you move back to the free plan.
Can I get a refund if it is not a fit?
Yes, within 14 days of purchase. Just write to us, no reason needed.
Is the price per person or per company?
Per account, and how many people can work in it depends on the plan. Solo is for one person, Business for up to 3 and Ultra for up to 10, each with their own login. The ledger, company profile and scenarios are then shared, while chats stay private.
What happens when I reach my message limit?
ChiefBoard pauses until the next calendar month or until you change plans. Your conversations, profile and ledger stay untouched and readable.
How is my data handled?
Your account and content are stored with Supabase. To generate an answer, your question and attachments are sent to Anthropic's Claude API, and hosting runs on Vercel and Render. You can export your data and delete your account yourself at any time. Details are in the privacy policy.
Does ChiefBoard replace an accountant or attorney?
No. ChiefBoard is decision support, not licensed legal, tax or investment advice. Where a professional is needed, ChiefBoard says so and what to ask them.
